It's dangerous, I'm falling
There's no escape, I can't wait
I need a hit, baby, give me it
You're dangerous, I'm l oving it

Too high can't come down
Losing my head, spinnin' round and 'round
Do you feel me now?

The lines from Britney Spears' song Toxic read like a hunt, telling of addiction and intoxication and providing insight into the existential dimension of her role as both seductress and addict.

Looking at the media portrayal of Britney Spears, it becomes clear how a young woman has been the victim of a misogynistic media system since her youth. An oppressive feeling echoes, evoked by the tragedy of the often transgressive reporting and a constant focus on the artist's sexuality.

Do you feel me now?, sings Spears defiantly and forms thus the symbolic figure at the center of the exhibition. Inspired by this line, Julie Legouez, Evelina Reiter and Shona Stark work on the themes of self-perception, social expectations and the pursuit of perfection.

In a humorous and critical manner and through sculptural, graphic and multimedia methods the artists examine the invisible mechanisms and socio-culturally rooted prejudices that shape perceptions of female identity.

The exhibition invites visitors to question the complex and often contradictory notions of femininity generated by the media and to develop a realistic perspective on female identity in our society.
