After the end of a short, intense relationship, I sent him a file via mail. He
confirm the successful delivery with a return receipt. All I had left were the documentation of the file and the return receipt. This documentation was presented at Galerie M, Berlin in the form of a police station in an old refrigerated warehouse, and at the Localize Festival, Potsdam, in the form of a Telekom office that had been vacant for twenty years.
The file contains:
- analogue photograph of the object
- passport photo of the subject, 2 photographs of a bouquet of flowers (1st in vase, 2nd in trash can)
- booklet with all photographs I sent him via Signal
- 15-page final report
- Polaroid photograph of two ceramic dolphins
- Wikipedia entry about Jacques Lacan
- all the notes/poems I wrote during the period
- a bag of bread crumbs (in case we get lost)
