The work “Venlafaxine & Sexual Abuse” is a portrait of my dead libido and explores the long-term consequences of relationship violence and sexual violence. My depression, which stemmed from an abusive relationship, is treated with, among other things, venlafaxine. This antidepressant is known to significantly reduce or even completely suppress libido.
