WORK TEXT

RED FLAGS brings together phrases that minimise, distort and justify harmful behaviour within a relationship. Stell dich nicht so an (Don’t make such a fuss), You are too sensitive, I did it ’cause I love you and I never said that reveal how manipulation can enter everyday language and gradually undermine a person’s perception of what is happening. The flags are installed so that the text is difficult to read. Like red flags in real life, they are not always immediately visible and are often easier to overlook than to recognise.
